Love and Friendship - The Difference Between a Lover and a Friend

You might be having the right thinking about how he acts whenever you're around. Love and friendship are two different things that are often mistaken by some. If things are still unclear and you are a bit unsure about everything, then you must consider these things. Here are some of the most noticeable signs that can classify love and friendship.

A friend forgives; a lover forgets.

A true friend is someone who will still forgive you no matter how big your mistakes are. Yes, they will forgive you, but they will never forget what you've done. In some ways, you'll get their trust back, but the thing is, they will never easily forget everything. A lover is someone that, despite of everything you've done will still toss all those imperfections out and forget as if nothing had ever happened.

A friend will always be next to you; a lover will give up everything just to be with you.

Love and friendship may sometimes both give the same signals. When you need someone to talk to, a friend will always be there. They will lend a hand whenever you need one. You may share your secrets with them, laugh your heart out, and just be yourself. But when a lover is around, he might possibly find it hard to just look straightin your eyes. A lover is willing to sacrifice a day with a lot of duties that needs to be done just to be with you.

A friend will wait for long hours; a lover will wait until forever.

Friends will wait for you, but soon they will get tired and will no longer stay. And with those long hours of waiting, you'll definitely hear complaints and all. A lover will patiently wait until you come and hear nothing but pure worries.Love and friendship are indeed both individually identifiable. It just takes a thorough examination of the person's actions especially towards you.

A friend will laugh when you do something recklessand stupid; a lover will get mad if those happen.

By the time you've done something that is undeniably stupid and you have somewhat hurt yourself, friends are the first ones to be there. Not to support you, but to laugh about your foolishness. A lover will be preoccupied and will certainly nag you for your stupidity. Why? The answer is rather obvious - because he cares.

A friend thinks about today; a lover thinks about the future.

Love and friendship must be viewed differently.Friends are always present in every night outs and parties so somehow they will be thinking about the things that you'll both do together for the rest of the day. A lover thinks about not only for the day or tomorrow, but a future with you too - a future with a figure of a happy family, and not a future with just the two of you.
